MIAMI — Assertions by the prosecution that Casey Anthony conducted extensive computer searches on the word “chloroform” were based on inaccurate data, a software designer who testified at the trial said Monday.
The designer, John Bradley, said Ms. Anthony had visited what the prosecution said was a crucial Web site only once, not 84 times, as prosecutors had asserted. He came to that conclusion after redesigning his software, and immediately alerted prosecutors and the police about the mistake, he said.
The finding of 84 visits was used repeatedly during the trial to suggest that Ms. Anthony had planned to murder her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, who was found dead in 2008. Ms. Anthony, who could have faced
the death penalty, was acquitted of the killing on July 5.According to Mr. Bradley, chief software developer of CacheBack, used by the police to verify the computer searches, the term “chloroform” was searched once through Google. The Google search then led to a Web site, sci-spot.com, that was visited only once, Mr. Bradley added. The Web site offered information on the use of chloroform in the 1800s.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office had used the software to validate its finding that Ms. Anthony had searched for information about chloroform 84 times, a conclusion that Mr. Bradley says turned out to be wrong. Mr. Bradley said he immediately alerted a prosecutor, Linda Drane Burdick, and Sgt. Kevin Stenger of the Sheriff’s Office in late June through e-mail and by telephone to tell them of his new findings. Mr. Bradley said he conducted a second analysis after discovering discrepancies that were never brought to his attention by prosecutors or the police.

Also, she said it later in the trial, w/out the jury present, when she was arguing some point to JP, which she won.
anyway, not only is it impossible, it is not what JA said in his closing. So, we have one sayingg one thing in the opening statement, and one saying something else in the closing. And JA actually used hand motions to demonstrate the tape being applied.

I wonder, how many times at the DT do you think those guys were laughing inside to listen to this garbage, knowing that it was pure lie. Of course they could not, given the seriousness of this, but don’t you think they were just thinking, who is pulling your strings to make you say this stuff which is pure and utter non truths.

At the end of this clip the reporter says that “JB tried to argue that the tape was not conclusive and that it was only found in one place in the Anthony house. We will see what the jury decides.
Well, in the closing argument for the state, JA said, “we concede that the tape is the same tape from the Anthony house.”
so, talk about backing up: wow! all the drama around the duct tape, and now, the state concedes the tape on the photo at the command center is the same tape that came from the Anthony household. They were sooooooooooo sure tha the jury would convict KC. They never thought that these jurors just might wonder about GA, which they did, and right there JA helped them do it.
What a concession…………. that was the power of the DT making him do that.

ELLIE JOSTAD, PRODUCER, “NANCY GRACE”: Right, Nancy. Well, about the stain, yes, the Anthony family has tried to explain this away, saying it was there before Caylee ever went missing.
About the duct tape, two big problems with the duct tape that we just learned about today. Number one, they found some unknown female DNA on that tape. They couldn`t figure out who it was from. Not from Caylee, not from Casey Anthony. They eventually went and — it looks like they tested female FBI agents, other female technicians involved in processing the tape. They were able to determine that the DNA on the tape matched one of the technicians.
The other problem with the tape — there was that heart-shaped residue that we`ve heard about on the non-adhesive side of the tape. Apparently, only one technician observed that. No photo that we know of was ever taken of that heart shape. And the tape itself was destroyed — or the marking on it, rather, was destroyed during the testing process. So the jury`s not going to be able to see what that image looked like.

Awfully interesting that the producer gives information about the tape but does not refute Nasty about the “wrapped around” part.
OMG….LDB had the gall to say a trial in a criminal case is supposed to be a quest for the truth and lying perverts that process. Now she’s calling the Casey the most well documented liar that has ever been in a courtroom. Watching this makes me sick.

Burdick said that because duct tape was wrapped around her hair that indicted that whoever put it there was not expecting it to ever be removed.

I know, HGM….LDB just kept exagerating the duct tape over and over. Wrapped around her head 3 times, and then intentionally stuck in her hair because they never expected it to be removed! Sounds like LDB doesn’t have a problem stretching the truth.
Shirley Plesea revealed that the last Caylee sighting was actually Fathers Day 2008. Read the transcript as the investigators fumble around, even suggest that she could be mistaken but see her replies. Very shrewd & smart answers.

I AGREE Omar, I swear there was a doll/duct tape video out there but now I can’t find it. The video that was described claimed the prosecutor heatedly wrapped the duct tape around and around the doll head.

Article i just read that helps understand a little more about the situation. Seems the media loves to twist words. After reading this case for three years, The media was never 100% correct. I am not going to pick and choose now because all media is pretty much the same…..I take it at 50% and try and find out the rest from the actual people.
Hollygmom: There were things missing in Shirley P’s statement. The stuff about the check came out later because Cindy like everything else tried to hide it and make it go away. Cindy hid from George that casey was stealing the amount of her cell phone bill for almost 2 years. Just like she hid the pregnancy from Lee and told him not to worry about it. If you go back through all of Cindy’s interviews and depositions you will see they were twice as long as anyone else and changed from interview to interview. Val @ Hinky did a lot of work to document the lies Cindy told from one moment to the next. Always bothered me that there was no reason other than to confuse or mislead LE and the FBI if Cindy didn’t have any thing to do with Caylee and her disappearance.

Joe tells police that he went by Joseph S Jordan Sr and Fire Sweep on websleuths and scared monkeys, so I checked out websleuths and found these posts from Sept. 2008. Joe seemed to be very involved in the search efforts and was trying to get people on the boards to assist. He told police it was because he had a 2 year old daughter, but you’re right Azanna, he was VERY involved for not being a relative. I guess it shouldn’t be suspect, but because of the shadiness that surrounds this case it is. Considering where Caylee was found I just thought the first post was interesting and also the comment about the water receding. They were searching the Lake Jessup area, so it’s not relevant to where Caylee was found except that it supports the fact that water was covering potential search areas at that time. Off to read more old JJ posts!

In regards to my last comment…..if there is any wrong doing to be looked at then formal complaints should be filed with the State Bar. Flapping one’s gums to the media does not solve the problem. The complaints should be taken care of promptly and professionally. That should be the minimum expected from an officer of the court and then let the Bar figure out if there has been any wrongdoing and act accordingly. I will wait for filing of a complaint or motion to the court because I can’t trust the media. So let the sweating begin.

my bet is that KCA left Caylee with her parents and this was an accident which they turned around on her. GA threatened to leave CA again if she didn’t put a stop to KCA’s immature attitude and her stealing, it was a well known fact that both CA and GA put her down constantly and they even did it in front of people, anyway that is my take after all is said and done

I understand about Cindy’s untruthfullness but am at present concerned with why, when faced with investigators, MRS Plesea didn’t INCLUDE the information about the stolen/forged check.
Did Cindy control her mother as well? Why wouldn’t Mrs Plesea mention it?
Damagd…I’m sure that the complaints WILL be filed appropriately. Watch this video….Jose is the one who brings up the fact that the 84 number is incorrect and that the prosecution KNEW it and used it anyway. Perry tells him to file the appropriate motion. LDB doesn’t correct it while she has the chance. YES….the media only gets it right half the time….but the SAO in Orange County has a marvelous way of twisting words and pressuring people to back off. I never believe half of what the media says….but I sure do believe FACTS when they’re glaring in my face. Maybe you don’t, but that’s your perogative.

Now comes Pam Plesea who swears that Shirley Plesea relayed to her that June 15 2008 Cindy & Casey had a naltercation and that Cindy choked Casey, yet 5 weeks later when confronted by investigators she does not mention this altercation & choking or the forged check.

Thanks for that video. I like that is shows how Judge Perry is apparently in cahoots with the SAO. He seems to be pretending not to know that CacheBack software gave false data (the “84”). But if SAO had finally given notice to the DT that Bradley reported the CacheBack error, wouldn’t the judge also have been informed by the SAO? I assume the judge sees all the notes that get passed between the SAO and DT.
So by saying at this moment that “I know nothing!” (nice Sgt Shultz imitation by Perry), he lets the SAO skate free and the jury never hears that “84” is indeed verified as false.
What a Freakin Kangaroo Court. Perry Needs To Be Put Out To Pasture — better still prosecuted for misconduct if the above proves to be true. .

It leaves one wondering if it was an honest software bug, or someone asked him “Can ya program this thing so it reports such and such?” Programs do exactly what you tell them to do. It would be so freakin easy. I’m waiting for someone to blow the lid off this sewer.

I thought that it was odd from the beginning that the software developer was the person who testified to the 84 hits. I bet OCSO personell didn’t want to perjure themselves and that is why Bradley testified.

Perry WAS so obviously biased in favor of the prosecution that it’s very, very difficult for me to understand HOW anyone could think he is a fair and impartial judge. I just hope that some of these defense attorneys who commented for different TV stations throughout the trial never have to stand in front of him defending a client who is truly innocent. Maybe Perry just hates Baez….or maybe he didn’t like Casey….I don’t know what his issue was, but honestly, the guy was a pompous jerk. I could tick off a list of things that show his biases, but you all already know them. I hope one-eyed-jack never gets his own TV show. I couldn’t stand to listen to his horrid speech. It’s like watching an episode of the Fat Albert cartoons.

Yeah, you are so right. Searches for “Hypovelmia and Meningeal artery” in the same session when “Chloroform” was searched. Sounds like a Nurse-type doing research, not some 20 something party girl looking for murder instructions. I listened for a while. It sure sounded like Cindy was doing these searches as a Nurse.

Been trying to catch up on reading…In reading (and I agree) about GA-my impression from all I have gathered in a short time. I came in with an open mind, and I have felt from the get go he threw her under the bus. One of the first video I watched was (forgive me I dont know date) the one where GA went there and didnt want CA to know. He was asking about the car and said all the blah blah about how he being a former LE, this is the day they were also fixing to release the 911 tape and the LE wanted LEE and GA to hear it before turning it over. GA called Lee but pretended to not be at the police offce. Cant remb if it was OCSO or FBI was talking to.
I have this thought in the back of my mind, something Kmiller said, what if KC is not GA bio child…I dont know…. somethings said and done by him… LOL in my mind….that could fit… but I dont want to go there with out proof…

After finding out that Chloroform was searched once I was a believer that KC was the one that searched for it, especially after the previous visit to My Space and seeing the picture that Ricardo posted. But the Meningeal artery just doesn’t fit unless you are in the medical field. But, the other possibility is that the term was not “searched” but just a Link was followed from a different search. The Meningeal info would appear in the NetAnalysis software report as a hit if the Link took you to a new Firefox page.
Remember the “shovel” hit? No body would search for a shovel unless they were going to buy one so a Link makes more sense for that too.
I do think that CA was constantly trying to keep KC under tabs though and she could very well have been looking at her My Space page and did not want KC to know she knew the password. But, then again there was that time on one of the jail videos where she wanted the My Space password and KC told her that she already gave the password to Lee.
So in the end I still think it was KC that was on the computer when this was happening.

I dont know this for sure, but after watching Ashton, I really think he has some kind of “tic” . Watch his squenching eyes, and mouth jerks, his head movements. When he got upset, they got worse. I am certainly not talking about his smug snickering… I have a very good friend who has “tics” and when she gets upset, it is more profound. That just MO on some of his facial expression…

She says that CA is on KC emails pretending to be her when someone sent a tip. KC gets upset and says thats why she is in trouble now people doing stuff and its not her..(paraphrasing).

Blam….I totally agree with you! It was horrid, and the prosecutors were smug and arrogant because they felt positive that they were going to send Casey to her death! That disgusts me. If I thought for one moment that the prosecution played fair and just believed in their case, I’d feel differently….but the whole trial was a slap in the face to our Constitutional rights. Judge Perry should be disciplined as well, IMO.
In reference to that Saturday that the DT and prosecution and Judge were in the chambers, etc.
That delay and ultimately adjournment for the day (On that Saturday) Was because the DT requested that KC be evaluated to make sure she was competent to continue..
That was disclosed on Monday and they ruled she was and the examination results (3 different ones) were sealed..

I remember one night, prob 4 weeks ago, I was up late and having a hard time visualizing the tape. I blogged so that night, and the only one up at that time was Amimi. I told her that I am a visual person who puts the words that people say to form the image. And that I could not get an image from what the prosecutors were saying. I was always left w/ “where is the other end of the tape?” They were purposefully vague, bec they knew they didn’t have it all together……….
I hope someone can put together a video of these types of distortions, bec at the end of the day a person’s life hung in the balance here. (yes, I know that Caylee is dead and that is a tragedy beyond words, but putting a person to death just to say we have done so, is WRONG. The evidence had to be there, and it clearly was not. That state had to know the gaps in their own case a long time ago. They used the media to stir up the public to obfuscate what was really the truth here.

Delaney, good job putting that together but do you know for a fact that the picture is to scale already? That is the only way it would work. The reason I ask is that the Henkle specs say it is 1.86″. I would expect it to be close to that. Working with pictures is one problem I have with the trial experts. They refused to allow the defense team on site so they were forced to have only pictures to work with, as far as the placement was concerned. I’d like to know exactly how wide the tape was where they say it was stuck together and wide enough to cover both the nose and mouth.

All, I am in process of trying to find out the appropriate agencies to ask for an investigation into the activities of both the State attorneys and law enforcement. We can’t have Melich investigating him self, now can we? What I’d like to do, if you all are willing, is to compile links to each part of the trial that appears to contain ethics or law violations. This includes Perry too, not just LE or attorneys. Perhaps JB will consider having a thread devoted to just that, no chit chat, so it will be easy to scroll through. Perhaps we could each take a section of trial to go though and note questionable actions, along with the marker in the video where it is found. wftv has the whole trial on video. We could post the video link with the minute marker noted where possible violations begin. I think there is enough attention that those in power would take a serious look at this if we help encourage them. We need to confine it to just what we know they will take serious though, false testimony, Brady violations, etc. If we list false testimony then we also need a link to where it was shown to be false.

You say you have a copy of CacheBack that produced the “84” result. An interesting analysis would be to use a decompiler on the CacheBack code and see if you find any obvious code blocks that monkey with the results.

I don’t think it would go very far if we included things we think are false that wasn’t presented at trial. Those things are the only things that can actually be called evidence, what was entered into the court record. We would need to stick to only things that the investigative agency can work with. Suspicious don’t count unless there is something solid behind it and it violated either ethics standards or statutory law.
Renegade investigations, I’d love to see what you have and hear your thoughts. I saw some pictures shown to the jury, on video, but I couldn’t read the page very well. When I tried to magnify the pic I captured it is rather fuzzy.
I think what is false and what was presented at trial are two different things. Not sure why anyone would want to include stuff if they think it’s false?
There are plenty of things that can be proven but were not allowed at trial. Like the emails between some FBI agents and OSCO investigators. Those are not false, but they were not entered into court record, that I know of.
Also how many times the Police came to the house before Caylee ever went missing. I just found that stuff the other day. I did miss the beginning of the trial so I’m unsure about whether it was in evidence.
You’re right Sam. It would, at the least, be an ethics violation but if they gave something as discovery that is false, it doesn’t matter if it was presented as evidence in trial or not. I was referring to suspicions we have about discovery, but don’t have substantiated, like my suspicion that the number called first from Caylee’s phone about midnight, July 12 was actuall Melich, even though he said he was contacted much later. That phone number showed up twice and I am nearly positive that it is Melich but I don’t have proof. All I have is the word of someone that claims to be a blogging attorney from Arizona and someone calling himself James Bond, moderator at WS.

They could have gotten any necessary numbers from the saved contacts on the phone itself. The fact that the phone was used at all seems very suspicious to me. And the fact that it took YM 2.5 hours to get there for a MISSING PERSON’s report is ridiculous. By the time YM did arrive, he had already pegged Casey as a suspect. I just have a deep sinking feeling in my gut about the ppl involved in this investigation.
Omar – The only reason I can see that LE would have used Casey”s phone was that they wanted the person being called to think it was her calling instead of it showing on caller ID that it was LE calling. JMO

Bradley laid the “84” blame squarely on OCSO CSI Sgt Stenger.
So there is the SMOKING GUN. And little wonder why Bradley’s attorney issued a revised statement (on July 20). OCSO clearly did not like all the Truthiness expressed in his Post Mortem — all the names and dates make it hard for OCSO to continue the lies.

The way I see this..No one thought that a jury could come back in 10 hours with a not guilty verdict in the Anthony case which took almost 3 years to try. The PT and DT presented over 20,000 pages of documents and countless hours of investigation and it only took them 10 hours to deliberate which means the State’s case was unbelievably weak. There was nothing for them to deliberate. If this can happen in America then we’re all in trouble.

Zuben, the duct tape is about 1 1/2 inches, as indicated by the ruler which is part of the photo, not added later. For example – if you place a ruler beside a sheet of paper and take a photo – you can look at the ruler to determine the size of the paper. The photo can be enlarged or made smaller, but the ruler measurement will read the same.
Whomever took the evidence photos of Q 62 and Q 66 and ruler either did a sloppy job by just tossing down the ruler, or intentionally put the tape edges at a mark on the ruler that would make it appear on first glance that the tape measures a full two inches.

There were numerous lies told – large and small – twhen JP was trying to decide if JA had a valid reason for having Watten’s duct tape animation entered as evidence, he asked JA if the animation was PROOF the duct tape was used to suffocate Caylee.
JA told JP that YES – the duct tape would prove it – moments later Warren said that ihis animation showed that it COULD HAVE been used to suffocate her – he made that clear, but JP went anead and let it be entered as evidence.
They lied about big things/lied about small things – just a bunch of liars – comes natural for them.
During the first few days I had no reason to believe JA was a liar. My view of him changed the morning he plopped down new documents on the DT table and acted just as normal as could be about it . DT objected, and the impression was that they felt it was a serious violaton for JA to present that to them the morning of the day he intended to use it.
That’s when I realized Jeff Ashton was a damn good liar.

1 out of 4 confessons that result in a sentence of death are false, according to an article I read on a death penalty site.
They say that any of us could confess to something we didn’t do . I think Arkansasmimi’s dad is right – they were, and still are angry that they couldn’t “break Casey” – couldn’t get a false confession.
Get over yourself, Yuri Melich – go take another training course on psychological games to elicit a false confession. Casey showed your bosses that you’re not the great manipulator they pay you’re paid to be.
Something else about the tape – the Shurtape technician never said he was certain that the tape matched one last manufactured in 2006 . He doubted it was that tape by 5%, and left the width property blank in his report although he included a lot of other details.
He knew Casey was accused of murdering with 2″ wide duct tape, but left the width out of his report? Negligence or intentional?
That’s like leaving the caliber of bullets out of a report about a gun that a person is accused of murdering someone with.

I am trying to back off and let go of a lot of the Casey Anthony case, to just read here, because JB Mission blog is so up front about finding truth, not to please oneself but to view every fact and fault as it really is. it is very hard to not say something when I read so many other bloggers whose comments totally disregard the fact that the prosecution lied, as in the “84” searches, delayed handing over timely documents to the defense, manipulated, had no conclusive facts of murder + more. Anyone who likes to think of themselves as a journalist, a reputable blog, represent a magazine and go on to call the defense liars and never mention the lying of the prosecutors, observes the bias favoring of the prosecutor, yet is not accepting of the judge’s appointment of the jurors, because of their final decision, not to mention the OBVIOUS LE mishandling in the very beginnings of this case in the demise of Caylee Marie Anthony.
The defense are not liars when they PROVE the evidence as presented by the prosecution was not adequate to send one through to a death penalty. A claimer as “FAIR TO BOTH” now coddles comments in agreement with the efforts to boycott, hiss in hatred, wish harm and demean, based on material that was shoddy and not proven in this case. A host and Commenters say they do not want Casey dead, yet they hope that somehow she comes to a fate of death, or worse than death, by SOME means.
JB, your contributors, the researching and forthcoming of real truths is uplifting because you are not so “opinionated” as you are intent in exposing so many clogged arteries of truth. Just want you to know you are valued in your work to buck the forces of corruption.

You could feed it into a database, but then you would need a gui drill down software to extract it. Sort of like your own database with your own google. Like batmans computer.

Yes. Just some suggestions on where to start? Break it down 1st by what was actually within the courtroom/trial then go back to violations in evidence/proceedure pre-trial? Then attack the trial day by day. Maybe we could start with a rough trial outline. Which day, who testified, what evidence covered. Then go in piece by piece and pick up each infraction or suspicious activity?
I think the rough outline plus and list of already known infractions & their dates or by whom and approximate date. IIRC we have about 6+ people already committed to the effort so we each would have approx a week’s worth of trial to cover. The more people the smaller the amount per person.

HollysGmom, that could work. With an outline that includes a link to the video and time stamp we could then easily go back and list all times a subject was address. Then we could go back to discovery docs to add in notes on relevant discovery with page numbers. BUT, I don’t want to put effort into this until we know who will actually take up this cause and investigate once we’ve put this together. Do you think the US attorney general can do this type of thing? We would want both attorneys and police investigated.

Here’s one instance on Day 4 that seems like a good candidate for “review”.
Earlier when prosecutors wanted to show the surveillance videos of Casey Anthony shopping at numerous locations while her child was reportedly missing, the defense objected to the state’s use of the videos.
Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick said the videos shows Anthony’s actions, not her mood, during a time when she was supposedly looking for her daughter.
Burdick argued that the video is relevant and should be shown to the jury.
Defense attorney Jose Baez said they already conceded Anthony wasn’t looking for Caylee during that time. During opening statements Baez told the jury Caylee died on June 16, 2008 in an accidental drowning in the family’s backyard pool.
Perry quickly ruled, in favor of the state, saying that the videos show Anthony’s demeanor.
He said some people would argue that someone should act a certain way when they have lost a child. It will be up to the jury to decide that, he said.
The state showed the jury surveillance video taken at J.C. Penny, IKEA and Target stores that show Casey Anthony shopping.

Earlier this morning the state filed a motion requesting the court to limit the defense’s cross examination of witnesses. Defense attorney José Baez objected.
“We have a theory of defense, judge. We have a right to explore it,” Baez told Perry.
Perry said the defense made no attempt to meet foundational requirements. He granted the state’s motion and Baez renewed the defense’s motion for mistrial, regarding remorse and impermissible character evidence.
Baez said prosecutors have put on a case of “character assassination” and other issues having nothing to do with the charges against Casey Anthony

I spent the first year on WS and wow did I take a lot of flak there. lol Sometimes you can catch me on Os pointing out mistruths that posters make there. They certainly read here and I don’t know why other than to harrass me when I am there. not sure. Perhaps deep down they have doubt, so they watch us over here. They think we are nuts over here, but deep down they are depending on us. thats just my opinion.

HGM…I don’t have time right now to look through the trial videos, but one thing that stands out in my mind is, late in the trial, LDB comes into court and hands Jose a large stack of papers having to do with the computer hard drives. Baez asks for time or JAC money to get an expert to look over it. LDB says that Baez has had the hard drive results for 2 years so there should be no issue. Perry, if my memory serves me correctly, as per usual, ruled in favor of the state (I’d have to review the video to be sure). What struck me with that whole thing was this:
Baez was forced to have all of his experts turn over reports stating their findings, the basis of how they reached them, and anything they would testify to. If these reports were not submitted in a timely manner, their testimony would NOT be allowed. We saw that with Rodriguez. So….the state comes in with a 6 inch stack of paper and some cd’s and basically says, “hey…you’ve had the computer hard drive contents for 2 years now. It’s up to you to figure out what we’re doing with them and what our expert will say.” To me, that was gross bias! And coincidentally, it turns out that the state lied about the 84 searches and did their best to sneak that in by any underhanded means they could…..doing just enough to make it look like they were trying to comply with court orders.
The reason it makes me so mad is that the rules of procedure do NOT demand that the defense present expert reports. That is something that is left up to the presiding judge. Perry could have said that they weren’t necessary and it would have been within the rules of procedure. So what we saw was the prosecution demanding an advance look at everything the defense had, but them trying to withhold. And Perry obviously bent over backwards to let the state get away with it. Even during the Frye Hearings….this sort of thing went on. I don’t know why the general masses can’t see it.
I know I’m not an attorney, and that people like Hornsby know the way things are supposed to go in a courtroom in Florida…..but all of the criticism that Baez endured from every single lawyer who provided legal commentary in this case was directed toward Jose’s lack of knowledge of law or court procedure. As I sat back and read and watched, I could not understand why these other lawyers were not catching some of this stuff. Honestly, Hornsby did at least mention a couple things that Perry did that were not square. He and Judge Eaton were really the only ones…..and Hornsby still continued to poke fun of Baez and call him names. Ok. So you don’t like the guy….but to all those talking head legal experts who are defense attorneys (Bill Scheaffer*cough cough* and others), didn’t it make you wonder just for a moment WHY Perry was so heavily slanted in favor of the state?? If you don’t like someone, fine….but aren’t you concerned even a little bit about the precedent this may be setting in future cases that you may have to defend????
Ok. enough ranting. And for the record…..even though I got really sick of Hornsby poking fun of Baez, I still relate to his way of thinking. I like to read what he writes. Bill Scheaffer or Mark NeJame, on the other hand, make me want to vomit. They are disgusting morons, IMO. Right up there with Moron and Moron…..errr….I mean, Morgan and Morgan.

I think they are starting a database….but first are looking for the right place to send it. No point doing all the research just to send it to someone who will not investigate further.
I think the Judges bias was blatant and flaming. I think the jury picked up on it. It basically backfired on him. I hope someday we find out the truth about Rodriguez. The explanation that JA gave was not sufficient. I would like to know more. A Captain? An 03 in charge of a man with Rodriguez stature? I doubt it. Perhaps it was Capt Morgan. Rodriguez was going to give the final blow to the State theory, but evidentally it was not needed. I am worried that Judges will continue to allow such excuses by Prosecutors in the future. A prosecutor can simply say, gues what? sorry, I guess he can’t testify because he might lose his job. The Judge says, oh well. That is shameful. IMO
I think a good example of how far off the State was in the way people think was the high five by the ME. She thought she delivered the winning shot. She was way off. If you think back on it and examine how the State witnesses looked confident, you can tell they were narrow minded and had no idea of what was going on around them. IMO
I totally agree, NTS. It was pure arrogance and the jury did not buy it. I know that these jurors aren’t saying what they really thought of these people.
Another nit picky thing that really annoyed me during trial was the way that the state’s “experts” looked at the jury every time they answered. I know they are trained to do that, but it looked so very insincere. YM seemed arrogant and very insincere. To me, he looked as if he thought the jury was gonna swoon over him. The same with Garavaglia. And if I had NEVER researched a thing about this case, I would NOT have believed her. Her “in 100% of accidents, someone calls 911” (or whatever the exact quote was) turned me way, way off. It was over-the-top blood lust.

Yuri also evading questions was a big turn off. Okay, define suspicion, then looks at the ceiling. Then looks over at the jury. It just does not look right on camera. Perhaps it looked okay to the Jury, I don’t know, but evading questions is not needed. Just tell the truth. Yuri admits to the jury he mispoke, but somehow he looked like he thought it was okay to lie as long as he said it was okay. lol Yuri danced around the suspicion chat so much that it was overkill. He just would not admit that he was suspicious of Kc even though they just played the interrogation tape. lol remember? that was the tape where we all learned about their combined experience 🙂 moo
Omar- I have to say Yuri M had to be the most obvious lier in the whole bunch. I was disguisted, everytime he took the stand. Well, I was disguisted, but laughed with disbelief.
I too feel that the jury has held back alot with their true feelings. I certainly don’t blame them, after how they’ve been treated. Most who have spoken have even “given the dogs a bone”, by saying, they hated there wasn’t the evidence to convict, since they felt she may be guilty on some level.
I wondered why Jan G. didn’t testify at the rebuttal phase. That guy (dont recall his name) testified whom had never even read the original reports. I felt like she should have been the one questioned. I could almost imagine her refusing to “stick her neck out anymore” for the PT after she was exposed as a failure by the WORLD RENOUNED Dr. Spitz. Even though all the haters wanted to make it seem like he was a quack. He even stated that he requested to do the autopsy together with Dr. G, and was refused. What? What ME would not be honored to work with Dr. Spitz? It would be like a professional back-up guitar player getting to play along side Jimmy Hendrix.

Yes, bill the state 2Million and I, a taxpayer in Florida, don’t have one problem with it, bec they were going to kill this girl w/ no evidence. The defense earned every single penny. The thing with Rodriguez never sounded right to me. Im under the impression that he was DOD? If that is the case, then there is a VERY slim chance that his boss was unaware that he was supposed to be testifying. Even though DOD is civilian, they are mostly ex-military, and the work place is a mixture of current military and civillians, and is ran in a military fashion. Any testimony he would have given had to have been a result of something he tested out in the work place. Someone was aware of what he was doing with his time at work. I would bet that a threat per the SA to the officials in charge was a more likely reason he did not testify. Military and politics go hand and hand, and as sad as it is the military is as corrupt as the government it serves.

Kmiller, Yes. The information sent to Kathy about me is actually criminal in a couple of ways. First in saying I commited the crime of murdering my infant son. Second in using personal information about me to try to cause another to disassociate with me. Thirdly by admitting they are working on behalf of “good citizens” and specifically named them which is harrassment by third party.
The problem is the system is so overworkered they don’t have time to go after virtual crime unless it involves $$$ (fraud), child porn, or a virtual threat that has made personal contact or direct death threats.
There is always the civil route but like I said last night a good attorney who specializes in cyber crimes initial retainer is $3000 and that’s just the start. Of course if you win $110,000 like the guy from Georgia who was defamed on Topix for murdering his girlfriend and was later vindicated by the arrest of the actual killer $5,000 – $10,000 isn’t that much. 😀
I have a lot of info on this subject as well as some real life contacts in the field.
Omar, re: CA/GA considering suing Bradley – they haven’t been harmed by Bradley’s software – Casey was the only one who stood to lose (her life) if jurors believed Stenger’s report made with the Cacheback program .
Let them go ahead, and get fined for filing a frivolous lawsuit.

Later he changed it to June 23 or 25 and also added that he had sent the info to “the wrong email”. However in the original statement he said he had also TALKED WITH THEM! I don’t get that. I mean CA clearly said the same thing at the trial that she said in her depo in 7/09. The fact that anyone in the media said perjury is just stupid, bec she said the same thing. Pg. 150-152 of her depo is almost word for word her testimony on thestand in the trial. So, I really am unclear how they have the basis for a suite.
And then wouldn’t Bradley’s lawyer countersue the State of FL? bec he presented the SAO’s w/ his corrected findings, right?

Okay to follow along with hinky things. I just had a coors lite, so forgive me if I sound like hotdogs over at ws. And csi GB sounded kind and credible, but I would just like to point this out. You all know it bothers me that the evidence garage guy shows up on the scene first. When YM filled out his report, he said that on the way over there that csi GB was on the scene first and called him and informed him that it was the remains of a child. I personally think Ym already knew that and that was why he was on the way over there, what I don’t understand is why did he put that in his report? Its almost like he was covering his butt. Later during trial as Jb and Gb are exchanging kind words, Jb ask GB: You would never knowingly do anything to alter evidence would you?
I think the dt truly believe the skull photos were staged and GB happened to be the first csi on the scene. Of course I am just speculating, but it eats away at me. MOO
With all the research i am doing, i swear i hope i never have FBI show up lol learning about decomp etc some people would get bad idea. But i am learning some interesting things like

I could never quite put a finger on what made me feel that way (except for the way he turned toward the jury with every answer, and the answers sounded rehearsed, IMO), but just something not quite right. YM I just didn’t believe at all….and I can’t wait until someone starts talking. I’m pretty sure that once they do, it’s not gonna be pretty. One thing that eats away at me is how, in the course of 3 years, we have one “detective” moving from homicide to missing persons (Caylee was his first mp case) and then onto internal investigations. That is just WAY too coincidental to me.
Should CA sue cash back? And then in return, cash back sues the state? and then in return Ca sues her former employer? Would this not bring out a bunch of information?

Another thing i found interesting is…..For instance, entire insect populations will rise or fall based on the presence of a corpse. A decaying body will even affect surrounding vegetation, killing off some flora with digestive enzymes. Now i wonder if there is anyone in that area the does data on these sort of things that might be able to give a reading to this in the Orlando area… I really wish they would have follow typical procedure on this case and involved correct forensic specialists there before trampling that area

I grew up with a very abusive father, alcoholic the works. he on 4 occasions tried to kill me, and numerous my mom. He tried drowning me at 12 and smothering me to death at 10 to make my mom pay for divorcing him. Her ultimate punishment! if my uncle wouldn’t had come in and seen me floating in the pool he would have succeeded. He was the ultimate Pathological liar. Never went to jail. I have not talked to him since i was 18 because of his disgusting ways.

I had a brother who passed away at 30 days old. He had a sudden fever, and once he was hospitalized, it just progressed until he died. The doctors were never able to explain what caused his death, and after my mother very reluctantly allowed an autopsy,(couldnt stand the thought of him being cut open) there were still no answers. There were some terrible rumors that my father did something to him, which was nuts, but that along with the sorrow that my parents still feel over 35 years later I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I know you have been blessed alot since then, but I am sorry that some one tried to hurt you like that. Shame SHaMe on them…..

There are a ton of things that make me suspicious of him. Zub produced a video of GA hooking up a trailor. He is in such good shape for his age, it makes you wonder. He was moving along like a 25 year old. It takes a lot of dedication at that age to retain a body like that. Time and more time working out. He did not work construction. NTS you know i am not sure if he did. Although i know as a child something was wrong that prevented him from securing life insurance. I wouldn’t doubt it if he had, i know he drank a lot at least a 5th of vodka a night., and when he was younger smoked pot but i am really unsure if he did other harsh drugs. my mom left him when i was 10 and court ordered visitations allowed him contact with me.My father was also very built, for being a alcoholic that was unique trait.

also i was reading about suffocation and how bone marrow absorb chemicals upon death and that those chemicals can maintain long time after decomp, since blood travels through the system into bone etc. makes me think that the toxicological testing would have shown,xanax,chloroform,chlorine, bleach etc in her bone or hair samples if it had been used. I read someone there was suspicion of Casey having seizures, if so is this epileptic or what type , i have a friend in AU that has epilepsy and so does his younger brother. when they had been kids the younger brother would wander just prior to a attack. they once found him in the fountain in Mackay Au downtowns round about. Could there had been a possibility that Caylee had Epilepsy and died that way on Casey’s or Georges watch and they panic not knowing why the child just died if they didn’t witness the seizure?
I just have this feeling that Kc went somewhere, and came back and the deed was already done. Just speculating.

I’ve been following along with all of you since long before the trial ever began…and I’m incredibly impressed! You’ve caught on to so many of the odd things in this case that I was wondering about so long ago in April when I stayed up really late one night pouring over depositions because something about this entire case just didn’t “feel right”. Some of you have been mentioning creating a format where each “questionable” piece of evidence from the trial could be addressed and sent (all combined) to some higher authority and/or ambitious – and honest – investigator. Do you think Casey ever checks into this blog?
I am wondering why Jose has not spoken up in terms of the chloroform count – or if he is counting on Geraldo to cover that. I’d really like to see other witnesses (like Rodriguez) speak up about being threatened about losing jobs or facing felony charges… if that occurred – and what about all the attorneys Cheney spoke about in terms of going after the media? While it might be wise to let things “die down” a bit…there is a point where these injustices will get buried in other stories, e.g. the debt ceiling stand-off, the hacking scandals (OUCH to FOX!), the Norway tragedy earlier this evening…and people won’t “care” that a young woman’s life wasn’t “saved” – but ruined.

HollysGmom, good job tracking down all that trial video at utube. My concern, though, is that because they are from different users, they may not include all parts. I just went to check the profile page of both Sierra and CaseyAnthonyTrial and don’t see that either one has all of the trial. I think we would be better off using wftv because they have all of it and each part would pick up right where the last part left off.

Still on the speculation side. If it was indeed a drowning as the DT claimed (which I personally believe), then KC didn’t have to go anywhere. She could have been in the computer room, thinking that GA was watching C. And he was preoccupied or went to the garage (if not heinous occurred), and in those few moments C slipped through that sliding glass door and neither of them suspected anything.
Remember, I live in S. FL and we read of these tragedies all the time. It is sooooo common here, but the common thread that runs through all the stories is that for just a few minutes someone (whoever that might have been ) was preoccupied w/ something that didn’t notice the child ….
If the ladder had been left up (due to that argument? / maybe CA forgot to take it down bec she was so angry?), then there was a straight line to the pool. C. always wore those floaties or swim vest, so she always thought she was swimming. And in probably no more than 2 minutes, it was all over. The lungs so tiny that they were filled w/ water.
Very tragic situations and every time you read one in the paper or see it on the news, your heart aches for the entire family. Yellow Dog posted earlier in the week that they just had their 7th or 9th drowning this year in his county alone for a child under 5 who had died in a pool accident. YD is also in FL.
